Southwest Imaging, Inc. was founded shortly after WWII in 1948 as Physicians Services Company, a pioneer in radiology sale & services. The company held its territory in the western United States. As Southern California and San Diego grew, the corporation founded a division called, Allison X-Ray which specialized in the San Diego & Southern California basin. Throughout the years we have operated in Southern California as a top factory representative for radiographic products such as: Universal X-ray, Continental X-Ray, Fisher Imaging, Summit Industries, and, many more.

In a market with fierce competition we acquired a competitor corporation, Alpha X-Ray of San Diego in 1988 to expand our service base. In 1996 to further enhance corporate stability in an ever-changing industry, Jim Allison, President took control of Physicians Services Company and Allison X-Ray. With the future of digital imaging technology in mind the corporation was then renamed "Southwest Imaging, Inc.". In recent years, diversifying our product lines and creating partnerships with world class corporations we are able to provide quality solutions for your medical imaging needs. We take pride in offer the medical community both conventional radiological solutions and the latest digital imaging technology These evolutions have given Southwest Imaging, Inc. a strong foothold and a stable foundation for many years to come.
